Privacy policy
Last updated 9 September 2026
This policy is short because we keep almost nothing. EaseMyPease is made by Kuldeepak Katwal (“we”, “us”). It applies to the EaseMyPease macOS app and this website.
Your voice
When you dictate, the audio is sent over an encrypted connection to our transcription service, converted to text in memory, returned to your Mac, and discarded. We do not store your audio. We do not store your transcripts. We do not use either to train anything.
Transcription runs on infrastructure we operate, which passes audio to a speech-recognition provider for processing under the same principle: process, return, discard.
Your transcripts and history
The app keeps your dictation history, learned vocabulary, and settings locally on your Mac. They never leave it. Delete them any time from the app.
Your account
To run your trial and subscription we keep the minimum: your sign-in email (managed by Supabase, our authentication provider), when your trial started, whether your subscription is active, and how many seconds of audio your account has used (a number — not the audio, not the text).
Payments
Payments are handled by Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle collects and processes your payment details under Paddle’s privacy policy; we never see your card number.
What we don’t do
- No analytics or tracking in the app or on this site.
- No ads, no data sales, no third-party marketing.
- No training AI models on your voice or your words.
Deleting everything
Email support@easemypease.com (also on the support page) and we will delete your account and its records within 30 days. Local data you can delete yourself by removing the app.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will note it in the app’s changelog and on this page, with the date above.
